Mikaela Gray, MS, LPCA
Brittany Caudill, MHA, LPCA
Mikaela Gray is an outpatient therapist here at Valley View Counseling LLC. She has always had a love for people and has worked many years in her communities as a volunteer with teens and adults. It has been a great joy and accomplishment to make her passion her career. She works with teens (16+), adults, and couples concerning a range of issues such as; depression, anxiety, self-esteem, self-harm, emotional regulation, communication difficulties, family conflicts, life-transitions, grief/loss, and healing from trauma. It is her goal to provide a judgement free environment for self-exploration, psycho-education, and a compassionate pathway toward change.
She takes a person-centered, existential, and emotionally focussed approach to counseling. When appropriate she also utilizes forms of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to provide structure, introduce coping skills, and encourage exploration of alternative ways of thinking/being. Most importantly she believes it is the trust that is formed within the therapeutic relationship that provides the greatest avenue toward change.
